If you live in Castle Rock, no doubt you know about the new ER in town. Actually, it really isn’t all that new. Castle Rock Adventist Health Campus officially opened September, 2011. As part of my work with non-profit organizations, I come in contact with some very noteworthy charities. From time to time I will share one that is proving to be outstanding to those living in the Douglas County area.
Just look to the right as you are heading into the Meadows neighborhood and you can’t miss it. However, there may be a few things you might have missed.
CR Adventist Health Campus offers full-service emergency care with board-certified emergency physicians and emergency-trained nursing staff. Plus, did you know that there is a Flight for Life Colorado helipad right therefor patients to be air lifted to another facility? The biggest hidden secret that I have found at the new ER, is that they have a full-service imaging center there as well. No longer do you have to travel into Denver if you need a CT scan, MRI, X-Ray, or even your annual mammogram. They also hold special events and screenings, some of which are free. The next one is a free cholesterol test on February 22, 2012. I recommend that you stop by and get to know your friends and neighbors at the Castle Rock Adventist Health Campus today!
